LOCATE’s April Newsletter

What a quarter. 😅 unnamed

Now is the time to work together and support each other through these uncertain times. Our team is here for you; please reach out if you need assistance with workflow changes, process adjustments, or if you just need to talk to someone besides your dog (is that just us?).

Above all, we hope you and your loved ones are staying safe and healthy!

New Documentation!

We are thrilled to announce the release of a project that has been in the works for many months, and is an ongoing effort of collaboration and teamwork:

The new site is still a work in progress, so we appreciate your patience and understanding as we complete the foundation of this extensive project. Our goal is to provide more robust and informative documentation, which will serve as a support tool for our customers and partners.

Canned Queries: Take Two

In Version 1.7.1, we released a series of new features to help companies unlock powerful data. This included new additions like Canned Queries and Calculated Custom Fields (ring any bells?)

While these features were extremely powerful and exciting, they were also very complicated!

So in this version, we scaled back the complexity and moved a lot of the steps into the background to make the features more accessible and user-friendly.

Watch the Highlight Video for more information about how to use the new version of this feature.

Quote Updates

unnamed (7)QUOTE STAGES

Customize your quoting process with Stages! Quotes will now start in an Open status, and your company can customize which unique stages they’ll go through before being Won or Lost.

When a Quote is Won, a Sales Order is automatically created. That’s nothing new, but what happens if that resulting Sales Order is voided or deleted? As of this version, if a Quote’s resulting Sales Order is voided, LOCATE will set the Quote to a Lost status. If the Sales Order is deleted, the Quote will be set back to an Open status.

More Features

We’ve given our audit trails an extra dose of detail. You’ll now be able to see additional information about each action like the IP Address and whether it was performed form the web interface (UI) or a mobile device.
